a mom with a desire to give her kids, family, friends and the world the best in natural bath and body care products…

jungle fresh started out in the family kitchen when our youngest son continued to show signs of mild eczema. We researched ingredients that contained healing and moisturizing properties and then began making an all-natural lotion that allowed us to manage our son’s skin condition. It snowballed from lotions to lip balms and other natural bath and body products for the whole family. When we shared our products with family and friends and received positive feed back, there began the birth of jungle fresh:

Our story continued when our youngest daughter developed an extreme case of eczema at approximately six months of age. We opted out of using medicated ointments, and instead chose to diligently dampen and moisturized her skin with a natural oil several times daily.  We are especially grateful for her daycare provider who ensured her skin was continuously moisturized throughout the day while dad and I were at work. After much research into the various available carrier oils, we found that sesame oil worked best for her and her skin began to heal. Although it has been several years since then, she continues to moisturize and her skin is beautiful, healthy and flawless. This journey with her enforced our belief in the unbelievable power of nature and makes us even more passionate about the use of natural ingredients in our hand-crafted products.
